Ysgol Dyffryn Aman parent's evening 2025
Pobl Gateway officers, Geena and Sharon, thought they'd try the school as a promotion location. They spoke to a handful of parent's and to lots of teachers. Parents are obviously going to have different things on their mind at parent's evening but lots of people saw the pop-up.
Any opportunity to promote the services of Connecting Carmarthenshire is a great way to spread the message and help people feel connected.

"We are with you" campaign WAWY
Have you felt that your hobbies and interests have enriched your life? Brought you some joy and made you happier? Do you feel that you are more interesting or a more well-rounded person?
There are so many ways in which Carmarthenshire citizens actively pursue their interests and often, without realising, are acquiring new skills, knowledge and experience in these areas.
Our passions can help reduce stress and are great for our mental health, they are perfect self-care activities.
Arts4Wellbeing Creative Café launched in Llandysul
The morning was extremely lively with free refreshments, cakes, biscuits and a raffle.
It was so pleasing to see a group of citizens (31) ranging from a well behaved 9 weeks old baby (Orinoco) to also well behaved young at hearts, I was chatting to a lovely 91 year gent.

Carers Trust Wales helps over 11,000 unpaid carers to have a short break
Carers Trust Wales has helped over 11,000 unpaid carers in Wales to take a short break from their caring responsibilities. Thanks to funding from Welsh Government, it has awarded nearly £2 million to charities and Third Sector organisations across Wales to deliver a range of activities through the Short Breaks Scheme.
The scheme, which runs until 2025, provides an opportunity for unpaid carers from diverse communities across Wales to have a short break away from their caring role. It offers personalised and flexible break options, including overnight breaks, group activities and small grants.
It gives unpaid carers the much-needed opportunity to enjoy some time for themselves and to focus on their own mental, emotional and physical health.
