CANDO Community IT Support – Carmarthen & Aberystwyth
CANDO is launching a new community IT support project across West Wales, offering relaxed, friendly help for adults who want to feel more confident using technology.
These sessions are designed for people who find computers, smartphones or the internet stressful, confusing, or simply unfamiliar. You do not need any experience — and there is no pressure, no tests, and no judgement.
We understand that many people are not lacking ability, but confidence. Whether it’s filling in online forms, using NHS systems, sending emails, or joining video calls, we provide calm, practical support in small groups where you can learn at your own pace.
What we can help with:
- Using laptops, tablets and smartphones
- Setting up and managing email
- Accessing NHS and online services
- Completing online forms
- Video calls and staying in touch
- Staying safe online and avoiding scams
- General confidence using technology
Our sessions are informal and supportive. You can bring your own device or use equipment provided. The focus is on helping you feel comfortable and capable, not overwhelmed.
