As an activity group coordinator, you’ll be in charge of organising the weekly activity group in Carmarthen. This is an administrative role that requires communicating and socialising with older people and volunteers from all walks of life.

The activity group meets weekly in Carmarthen at the Living Well Centre and you will liaise with older people, activity group leads, and drivers. This activity group is a Tai Chi session and normally last around two hours, you do not have to attend the session if you cant, but you need to liaise with the activity lead, to make sure that all the older people are signed up and know when it is happening etc from week to week.

Activity groups are free monthly groups that are open to older people who are lonely, isolated and in need of companionship. Activity groups are a great way for older people to stay active and to make new friends in their local area.
