Cefnogi exists to support people in our community who are facing crisis, hardship, or ongoing challenges. For over a decade, we’ve served Ammanford and the surrounding areas with practical help, compassionate guidance, and long-term support for anyone who needs it.
Our Help Centre is the heart of our work. It’s a safe, welcoming space where people can receive one-to-one support with benefits applications, form-filling, advocacy, budgeting and debt guidance, and signposting to specialist services. Many of the people who walk through our doors are navigating difficult situations – illness, caring responsibilities, sudden financial pressure, or simply feeling overwhelmed – and we take the time to listen, understand, and walk with them until things improve.
Alongside this, we run a Trussell Trust foodbank, providing emergency food parcels and essential items to individuals and families in need. We aim not only to meet immediate practical needs, but also to address the root causes of poverty by linking people into the wider support we offer.
Everything we do is centred on dignity, compassion, and hope. Cefnogi exists to make sure no one in our community has to face their challenges alone.
