The Vision Friends project is ready to support carers to gain skills and knowledge to identify, understand and support people living with sight loss.

This Carers Week, the Vision Friends project will be delivering a free taster session to unpaid carers and services who provide support to unpaid carers.

This will give you an introduction to the full Vision Friends course, which covers the following topics:

  • Understanding sight loss
  • Identifying signs of sight loss
  • Supporting access to eye care services
  • Colour and tonal contrast
  • Lighting in the home 

This session is open to all unpaid carers and those who work to support unpaid carers in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
