Bob dydd Mercher 10 y bore tan 3 y prynhawn yn Fferm Sir Bremenda Isaf, Llanarhne.

Mae partneriaeth Bwyd Sir Gar Food yn gweithio i ddatblygu system fwyd ffyniannus, gynaliadwy, iach, gwydn a theg ar gyfer Sir Gaerfyrddin. Bydd eich amser, eich sgiliau a'ch egni yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth ein helpu i symud y weledigaeth hon yn ei blaen.

Mae Fferm Sir Bremenda Isaf yn fferm iseldir, ac yn ganolog i waith ein partneriaeth, wedi’i lleoli ym mhentref Llanarthne. Mae rhan o’r tir cyhoeddus hwn bellach yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel safle peilot ar gyfer menter gyffrous i dyfu ffrwythau a llysiau ffres, o ansawdd uchel a fforddiadwy ar gyfer y plât cyhoeddus—gan gynnwys ysgolion, cartrefi gofal, a chaffis. Mae gennym gae ar gyfer ardal dyfu gymunedol, sy’n cael ei ddylunio mewn cydweithrediad â grwpiau cymunedol, i ddarparu cyfleoedd ar gyfer gweithgareddau addysgol, iechyd a lles ar gyfer ystod eang o grwpiau yn y dyfodol.

Ar y safle, rydym hefyd wedi datblygu llyfrgell benthyca offer a pheiriannau i annog mwy o gynhyrchu ffrwythau a llysiau yn y sir ac yn gobeithio datblygu’r fferm yn ganolbwynt bwyd ffyniannus, gan ddarparu llwybrau i farchnadoedd lleol i gynhyrchwyr Sir Gaerfyrddin dros amser.

Bydd gweithgareddau gwirfoddoli ar y fferm yn cynnwys:

● Gweithgareddau garddwriaethol yn yr ardd farchnad 2.5-erw a'r cae cymunedol, gan gynnwys gosod y twnel polythen newydd.

● Cynnal a chadw fferm a chynnal a chadw cyffredinol.

● Cynnal a chadw peiriannau: fel gwesteiwyr y Carmarthenshire Machinery Ring (Rydym hefyd yn croesawu gwirfoddolwyr sydd â'r sgiliau a'r profiad i helpu i gynnal a chadw offer a chyfarpar.)

Sylwch fod y prosiect yn dal i gael ei ddatblygu, ac mae gan rai rhannau o'r safle dir anwastad. Dros amser, byddwn yn parhau i wella hygyrchedd a chynnig ystod ehangach o gyfleoedd gwirfoddoli. Os hoffech gysylltu i drafod sut y gallwn ddarparu ar eich cyfer, anfonwch e-bost [email protected]

Byddwn yn darparu cawl, bara, caws a diodydd.

Gwisgwch ddillad addas ar gyfer gwaith awyr agored a gwisgwch ar gyfer y tywydd. Bydd offer yn cael eu darparu.

Edrychwn ymlaen at eich cyfarfod.

Every Wednesday 10 am to 3 pm at Bremenda Isaf County Farm, Llanarhne.

Bwyd Sir Gar Food partnership is working to develop a thriving sustainable, healthy, resilient and fair food system for Carmarthenshire. Your time, skills, and energy will play a vital role in helping us move this vision forward.

Bremenda Isaf County Farm is lowland farm, and at the centre of our partnership’s work, located in the village of Llanarthne. Part of this public land is now being used as a pilot site for an exciting initiative to grow fresh, high-quality, and affordable fruit and vegetables for the public plate—including schools, care homes, and cafés. We have a field for a community growing area, which is being designed in collaboration with community groups, to provide future opportunities for educational, health and wellbeing activities for a wide range of groups in future.

At the site, we have also developed a tool and machinery borrowing library to encourage more fruit and vegetable production in the county and hope to develop the farm into a thriving food hub, providing routes to local markets for Carmarthenshire producers over time.

Volunteering activities at the farm will include:

  • Horticultural activities in the 2.5-acre market garden and community field, including setting up thenew polytunnel.
  • Farm maintenance and general upkeep.
  • Machinery maintenance as hosts of the Carmarthenshire Machinery Ring (we also welcome volunteers with the skills and experience to help maintain tools and equipment.

Please note that the project is still in development, and some areas of the site have uneven ground. Over time, we will continue to improve accessibility and offer a wider range of volunteering opportunities. If you would like to get in touch to discuss how we can accommodate you, please email [email protected]

We will provide soup, bread, cheese and refreshments.

Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and dress for the weather. Tools will be provided.

We look forward to meeting you.
