Repair Cafés are free meeting places where you can bring broken household items to be repaired. Refreshments are available and the types of things volunteers can fix include clothes, household electrics, technology, woodwork, children’s toys, furniture, bikes and more.
We recognise that the shift of humanity into a throw-away society is not a sustainable one. A Repair Café is a social way to combat wasted materials, resources and maybe teach people new skills.
We can't promise a fix for everything but our volunteers will try their best to find you a solution or give you advice on what could be done to repair your item.
If you are nervous about coming along for the first time, drop us a message and we will make sure to look out for you and show you around.
