We're recruiting volunteers to support our chefs deliver Cegin y Bobl's Food Discovery course to a primary school in Carmarthen in the spring. Be part of this inspirational cookery programme led by professional chefs in schools.
Professional chefs lead all our courses in schools, supported by volunteers who help with set-up, food prep, supervising work stations and clean-down.
This is a great opportunity to gain skills in a kitchen setting, perfect for people who enjoy the challenge of working with children in a creative, busy (and sometimes messy!) environment.

About the Food Discovery Course
This hands-on 6-week course gets kids stuck into real cooking, giving them freedom, responsibility, and respect in the kitchen, classroom, and on the farm. Each half day session sees up to 20 primary school kids in the kitchen, prepping and cooking a dish from scratch, guided by two of our professional chefs.
The impact speaks for itself: better attendance, improved focus, kids proud of what they’ve made and open to trying new foods. Families are cooking from scratch more, and teachers are seeing the difference every day.
