World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day is an international event that takes place on 13 November each year. It was created by the World Kindness Movement 25 years ago to highlight good deeds in the community and celebrate kindness. In the UK, the awareness day is called Kindness Day UK and is organised by Kindness UK.

World Kindness Day is a good reminder of the importance of Carmarthenshire citizens being kind to others. We are a county of kind communities and by helping just one person, we can all feel the benefit.

Kindness is, after all,  at the heart of the third sector and Carmarthenshire’s charities are just one example of how you can help - Volunteering your time is a great kindness that we can all do.

Check out Connect to Kindness - Connect Carmarthenshire where we have a host of kindness information, videos and other resources.
