Connecting Carmarthenshire is Carmarthenshire County Council’s digital hub for wellbeing, early help and prevention.
It’s a place where residents, carers, families and professionals can come together to find local support, share activities and strengthen community connections.
We know that life isn’t always easy - whether you’re caring for someone, looking after your own health or just trying to stay connected. That’s why this platform brings together trusted organisations and local networks to make it easier to find the right help, at the right time.
What we do
Connecting Carmarthenshire helps you to:
- Find local wellbeing activities and services.
- Access advice and guidance on housing, mental health, caring, disability and living independently.
- Connect with others through community networks, volunteering opportunities and local support groups.
- Share your own activities so others in your community can benefit.
Whether you’re looking for practical help, someone to talk to or ways to get involved locally, we’re here to make that connection easier.
Our partners
Connecting Carmarthenshire is delivered in partnership with:
- Adferiad - providing recovery, mental health and substance misuse support.
- Age Cymru Dyfed - supporting people aged 50+ to maintain independence and wellbeing.
- Nacro – helping people to live independently and build brighter futures.
- Pobl – providing homes, care and support to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
- The Wallich – working with people affected by homelessness across Wales.
Together, we offer a joined-up approach to wellbeing and prevention, so that everyone in Carmarthenshire can access the help they need - close to home.
Our communities
We work across five neighbourhood areas - each with its own mix of local groups, activities and support. Wherever you live, you’ll find something happening near you.
