The Connecting Carmarthenshire partnership, led by Nacro and Codi, has the facility to micro commission a service to respond to a unique or emerging need of a preventative nature. This annual facility enables the Connecting Carmarthenshire service to be flexible and adaptive to the need of local people and ensures support is provided in a timely manner. Whilst the micro-commissioning budget is available for flexible usage across communities it must be used within the parameters of being a preventative service and not overlap with local authority statutory duties.
All micro-commissioned activity will be provided in accordance with and comply with Carmarthenshire County Council standards.
